How to Choose a Work at Home Coach?

It seems like there is an obvious answer to that question but in reality work at home coaches come in many different forms and by no means are they all the same. Many people have their work at home dreams crushed when they choose the wrong coach and are led down a long and grueling path to failure.

This is why if you do your research and understand what each type of work at home coach has to offer than you can be better prepared and ultimately have a much more satisfying experience.

To begin with it is almost guaranteed that you will not find a free work at home coach that concept simply does not exist in this industry. Most will charge you upfront or on some drawn out monthly plan, and this is precisely why it is important to research who you work with.

The first group in this category are the “professional” boiler room firms that offer you high end coaching. These people buy leads from other product owners as an up sell deal, so for instance you buy some thirty dollar eBook about how to use AdWords and the next thing you know you’re getting a call from some guy in Utah claiming that for $10,000 he can help you really succeed.

These are the worst kinds of operations and I would advise staying far away from them. These people are not out to help you, they usually provide limited support at outrageous prices. Their only real skill is at knowing how to extract as much money as possible from their customers.

They use a variety of high-pressure sales tactics and really have no standard prices for their work, they’re trained on how to deceptively gauge a customer’s worth and then offer their services at the highest possible price. So for instance a customer with good credit and multiple cards would be charged much more than someone with lesser means.

As you can tell by now this is not what most people expect when they hire a work at home coach. Your next option is to go with someone local. This is always a great bet because you will be working with someone in your neighborhood and will have one on one contact with them. This offers a real level of security as you know you won’t be swindled by some out-of-state scammer.

Now that’s not to say that these people will necessarily help you reach your goals. You still need to research them and the claims that they make. I would recommend finding some of their former students if possible and getting some real feedback. This you really know if they are the right mentor for you or not.

Finally, your last option is to with a celebrity blogger/ internet guru, there are many popular blogger types that have huge followings and big names within their respective fields. Many times these people offer coaching seminars or retreat weekend type of packages. These always sell out and are highly sought after.

Now again this doesn’t mean that you will personally benefit from this type of work at home coaching. I would only suggest taking one of these when you’ve already established your business and can afford the additional help. Due to the popularity of the coaches these events are not cheap and I would only recommend going if you know exactly what you want to get out of the event and have made sure that it will be provided.

Keep these tips in mind when you’re researching your options for a work at home coach and you won’t be disappointed.

If you’re looking for a real Work at home coach, someone who'll finally help you succeed and reach your financial goals then you have to check this out, this guy is helping 500 people reach their work at home dreams and there’s no reason why you shouldn’t be one of them.
